Gympie Carcass Classic
Nolan Meats has proudly supported and promoted the Carcass Classic since its inception in 1987. The Carcass Classic is an annual event organised by the Gympie District Beef Liaison Group which culminates in an Award Dinner held every year. In 2005 the Gympie District Beef Liaison Group received the Agforce Queensland Best Education Program Award at the Red Meat innovation Awards for their hosting of the Carcass Classic.

Gympie Muster Cup Race Day
The Gympie Music Muster is Australia’s premier music festival. Set among the towering gums and leisurely lagoons of the beautiful Amamoor Creek State Forest Park in Queensland, it attracts more than 25,000 people and around 15,000 camps out for the entire six-day festival in the last weekend in August each year.
The Saturday prior to the Music Muster event the Gympie Turf Club holds the Nolan Meats Muster Cup Race Day. A great opportunity for visitors and residents to enjoy a fund day of local racing with prize money totaling over $55,000.
Gympie Cooloola Rugby League Football Club
Nolan Meats has been a major sponsor of the Gympie Cooloola Rugby League Football Club for several years. Gympie won its first ever Sunshine Coast/Gympie Football League A-Grade premiership in 2010. Gympie was also grand finalists in the 2011 and 2012 A-Grade competition.
Many of Nolan Meats Team Members have played for the club and been involved with the club over the years.
Gympie District Show
The Gympie District Show is held in May each year at the Gympie Showgrounds, Exhibition Rd, Southside
Each and every year the members and employees of the Gympie District Show Society strive to put on one of the largest and best regional Shows in Queensland.
From all over Australia people come to exhibit and experience everything great within the Gympie District and beyond. Over the past 125 years the Gympie District Show has evolved into a great family event and a yearly ritual. With the Fireworks on Thursday, Peoples Day and the Grand Parade on Friday and Saturdays Rodeo, there is always something to enjoy.
Clean up Australia Day
Nolan Meats is proud of their involvement in the Clean Up Australia Day. For over 10 years now Nolan Meats Directors and team members jump in and collect the rubbish from their surrounding district.

Heart of Gold is hosted in Gympie, Queensland, Australia and with three of the largest and most active film societies within an hour’s drive providing a ready audience it makes it perfect home for the festival.
